The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Volodymyr Rybak believes the new version of the Constitution of Ukraine should be adopted by the Parliament.
V.Rybak said this, answering questions of the “Viche” magazine on Wednesday. “I believe that Constitution cannot be adopted during the referendum. The Constitution should be adopted in the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine,” he said.
According to the Chairman of the Parliament, work on amendments to the Main law is an extremely complicated process which should involve experts. V.Rybak believes also that constitutional process requires public discussion and should be considered in the specialized parliamentary committees.
Thereat, the Head of the Verkhovna Rada did not exclude that certain issues could be put to a referendum.
The Chairman of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine was interviewed by parliamentary media Rada TV Channel, newspaper “Holos Ukrainy” and magazine “Viche” on Wednesday.
